GoogleConsider this.
Google reported disappointing results and opened down 6% on a previous Market Cap of $186B. Thats a loss of value of $11B.
YLO has a market cap of well under $3B US. Imagine is Google had bought YLO YESTERDAY for $5B - if would cost them 1/2 of what the market cost them today.
Googles probelms are not long term, but in the short term they need to get more cash flow. YLO has the opposite concern. And it is not just YLO, but all the DINOSAURS (Jaunes....) that could be had for a song right now, and have tremendous access to info. Google could buy them all for less than one bad day on the market - and significantly improve there near term bottom line. With YLO for example, if they bought it a $6 the dividends would stop, the positive cash flow for the next 3 years would be huge - and long term, it would acceralte there on-line dominance (and crush Bing in the process).
Far fetched I guess - just like when there were those rumours decades ago about AOL and Time Warner.
