Maybe there is only one such process and FYI is buying the patent, but I have been burned in the past on companies that have multiple patents that sound wonderful, only to discover that there are competing patents by the dozen. For example in the LED lighting industry, small windmill industry, etc.
If someone works in the oil sands industry in a separation plant as an engineer, that person would have a much better idea than me if this process is, 1) workable on large scale basis, 2) unique and 3) better than competing processes-if there are competing processes.
