Dividend

Dividend

The stock will trade EX-Dividend TOMORROW, April 19'th (3 days before date of record).  (EX-Dividend is the day the stock will trade without the dividend).  In order to partake in the Dividend you must own the stock TODAY.  April 18'th is your last day to buy and get the dividend.

Amerigo Resources has declared a semi-annual dividend of Cdn .02 per share, payable on May 5, 2011 to shareholders of record as of April 22, 2011.

I bought more on Friday as I figured copper was about due for a jump in price.  Copper has softened lately 7 days in a row so odds are it is due for an increase.  Dip buying will keep the price strong and help move the price forward.  Price can't keep going down long term when they have recently forecasted a larger supply deficit
.  Annual supply deficit was estimated at about 253000 tonnes of refined copper in 2010, it is expected to further rise by 378000 tonnes in 2011.

The Company’s copper selling price before smelting, refining and other charges was $3.25/lb in 2010 and $2.35 in 2009.  Do the math anything above $4.00 is sprinkles on top of the icing on top of the cake.  In case you are reading this tomorrow and missed out on the dividend, the stock is valued at around $1.80 or 50% higher than where it is currently trading.  The company has a huge surplus of cash so another dividend will occur later in the year.
