I think it's more remembering than belief. They're remembering 2008 and afraid it will happen again. Apparently it's going to take a lot to change that belief.

Perhaps the metals rebounding on the Globex after a red day will influence attitudes to where the value is at and where safety lies.

It's going to be a long grueling road. At least we're on a road though. Many others are off the beaten path.
