In response to your request for info on spring break up conditions.
I just returned from a 9 day trip about 5 hr's north of Van.B.C.
At 3200 feet yesterday it snowed all day.it froze every night.
the spring has been exceptionally cold and the creeks have not risen yet.
there is still snow patches up there 1-1.5 feet deep.

In calgary it is forecasted to drop to -10 c tonight
below is a forecast for Nordegg Albert.
As you can see it is still freezing every night..
