Dividend Speculation...
Dividend Speculation...Since the stocks are doubling, one would assume that the dividends would be cut in half to retain the same payout. I personally don't believe that will happen. Glentel will make so much profit this year, that I think they will not cut the dividend! Mr. Skidmore clearly said that half of the company's profits will be given back to share holders yearly. Glentel made $2.20 per share last year and I predict $3.00 profit this year. The dividend is curently .59/yr (14.75 cents per Quarter), doubling that would be $1.18, still not even half of $3.00! There's still room for a special dividend at the end of the year too! Remember, the savvy Skidmores own over half the shares, they love those dividends too. A few years back they intended to convert Glentel to a trust fund, in a roundabout way they are achieving the same results with respect to shareholder value.
Emagine that, double you shares-double your dividends.
Hope I'm right!
