RE: RE: what a mess!
RE: RE: what a mess! What you saying?...that this in fact was a pump and dump? Do you have any proof?
You say the company went over $5 a share andif so I say it has absolutely nothing to do with management ability. After all, what has management, a.k.a. Ed Godin done but sit in his business class seat on fancy planes flying all over the world on he shareholders dime. Oh, and drawing a huge salary and other expenses in the process.
If anything the escalation in price had to do with the Uranium bubble and the promoters that decided to play the stock. As any sophisticated investor knows, promoters will talk up a stock because that's what they're paid to do (directly or indirectly). They will continue to talk it up even after it hits its peak. So, why would the average investor suddenly stop believing the story. If they say its going to $10 and it hits $5, why would they sell?
You do ask a great question - who made or implied the promise? Is Godin going around telling investors that this is the biggest uranium deposit in the world? If so, is he also telling them that they haven't figured out a way to economically get the uranium out?
You bring up a good point. Maybe the shareholders that have lost the money by buying into the story can sue Godin himself. I'm not a lawyer, so I'm not even sure if it is possible or makes sense. Is there a lawyer in the house?
Mr. throwinup - thank you for helping the investors see this from another angle.
