POET is Licensed, not even OPEL

Regarding POET, this is liscensed to OPEL and can easily be licensed to other deep pocketed companies which could market /utilize the product better then OPEL. Hoefully OPEL does not do all the grunt/ ground work and allow the technology to be licensed out again. So, what kind of value does POET add to OPEL then??
