https://ramumine.wordpress.com/2011/04/05/post-courier-seabed-mining-an-ill-informed-decision/ Maybe someone with a scientific background can comment on this article. Found out after speaking to NUS in Toronto that the XRF results for copper are usually done
on the exploration vessel. Regardless, Solwara 1, 12 and 5 are or have been drilled over the last two months or so as part of an expanded twenty million dollar program (up from the original seven million dollar program) yet we still don't have any XRF results? As well, on February 11, 2011 NUS announced spectacular results (XRF) for Solwara 12. The gold, silver, zinc lab results have yet to be released although maybe the core is still on the exploration vessel or the XRF broke? On the trading side I continue to see trades of 10, 78, 50, 40 etc. shares. What are those odd lot trades all about and why? I continue to see very weak bidding and anytime a position of more than 10,000 is officially offered as the bid dries up to almost nothing. Pathetic. The Vessel JV and the PNG JV are it for JV partnerships based upon my conversation with Investor Relations in Toronto (I feel sorry for those guys) so more funds will need to be raised to go to production. I can't find any share sales by Anglo, Teck or Metalloinvest as of yet or any recent exercise of options by the Insiders of NUS even though I think they have options for as little as .90 cents
