RE: only one person on this boardThe positive thing is that since the flow stabilized and the section repressured it will be possible to produce the gas on this field. The fact that the flow declined so much is the negative part. If this happens on the rest of the levels we get a total of maybe 3 mmcfpd stable production. If this is the result I expect that they will produce from the field using horisontal wells and that this is the reason to why they choose not to acidize at the moment. Also I believe that they have until May 15th to commence drilling on the Povorotnoye field. If they decide to acidize at the moment on the Karl field they will save alot of time because then it will be just a matter og perforating and testing the levels at the moment. I am however unsure about how long time they need on each of these operations. I do believe that they now have sufficient data to make a better reserve report of the Karl field and that they will declare it a commercial field with horisontal wells. The fact that this is said to be a HPHT field makes it very interesting because it means that it can produce with very low decline. The downside now is the total flow parameter, the upside is the total flow parameter. It can be good and it can be bad...
