ounces and equivalents and valuation
ounces and equivalents and valuationCaptainJ and others...i would love to read some discussion on the amount of silver and equivalents we have in the ground. As you all know the 43-101 should be out in the next few weeks (end of may latest) and the excitement/nervousness will build till then.
I have read through the Captain's postings which are excellent -- was wondering how you came up with approx 102,000,000oz (without lead). Why do you think you are so far off from the jennings report that estimated 129,000,000oz.
Also - I note that you use a price per hole to determine value whereas jennings uses a ounces-in-the-ground valuation of $3.50 per ounce of silver --- what is more accurate?
Further -- is $3.50 still appropriate? I know silver is up large over the last few weeks...do valuations adjust that quickly or will we stay around $3.50 for a while until this trend of high silver prices is solidly in place.
Captain -- if i use the jennings metric of $3.50/oz and your ounces i get a value of approx $358m. Add the cash balance of approx $65m and the warrants that can now be forcibly converted for another $15m and we have a total enterprise value of $439m -- based on approx 210m shares outstanding we are at a value of approx $2.09 --- i would love to hear your thoughts and those of others on this board.
