Name change...? Part 2
Yup, the new name still sucks after a day or two of reflection. And for those who dismissed my comments about the name, saying the name is irrelevant, I disagree. Investors want to see an easy to say, recognizable name and brand..that's just marketing 101. If we are having a discussion on how to pronounce it, than that in and of itself says the same sucks.
The name was disappointing enough, but to see the results of that trial later buried in the news release was simply poor communication. Today's "clarification" news release may have been even worse, because it highlighted the bad news to the market again, without really providing any new information. That's my take.
Whether or not the news about that trial is relevant is yet to be seen. I wouldn't claim to know much about potash, and I think we need a knowledgeable analyst to give us some help (i.e. Kaiser). I can't imagine this was run up over $10 if there wasn't something really good here. I'm stating the obvious here, but it appears the selling is overdone, and despite the new name (haha) I'll be holding for now.
