VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - 04/27/11) - Douglas Lake Minerals Inc. (the "Company" or "Douglas Lake") (OTC.BB:DLKM - News) is pleased to announce that it has taken receipt of a technical report (the "Technical Report") on the Company's Handeni property.
The Technical Report, prepared in accordance with Canadian National Instrument 43-101 Standards for Disclosure of Mineral Projects ("NI 43-101"), was authored by Avrom E. Howard, MSc, FGA, PGeol (Ontario), a registered Professional Geoscientist and Principal Consultant with Nebu Consulting LLC. Mr. Howard obtained an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Toronto, in 1979, and a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, in 1992. He subsequently obtained certification as a Gemologist from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain in 2001. Mr. Howard is a Practicing Member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (registration number 0380), a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists, and a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
Mr. Howard, in his capacity as an independent Qualified Person in accordance with the terms and provisions of NI 43-101, was commissioned by the Company to prepare the Technical Report on the Handeni property, which he visited on February 26 of this year.
