random ups and downs - calm down

random ups and downs - calm down

came across this interesting article, which articulates nicely my feeling that very often people read too much into share price movements here, particularly when they are based on relatively low volume. Certainly the policital situation in Burkina Faso is worth monitoring. However the company is doing well, progressing toward a new resource estimate for Kiaka which should substantially increase official estimates of the deposit; we are going to have a pre-feasibility study come out soon, and we are going to have some drilling at Nassara - AND the price of gold continues to hit new highs - with costs reasonably fixed around $500.00 per ounce, we are in a wonderful business. I think these are the features to focus on, rather than trying to impute meaning to meaningless changes in share price. I actually think volume is telling us much more than share price at this juncture. The volume tells me that for the most part investors are holding on and are in no hurry to sell, and that there has been nothing recently to inspire a new round of buyers to get into Volta. Thats probably going to change with POG showing such strength and the events mentioned above. Anyway, here's the article. I would be interested as to whether anyone thinks the views in this article apply or do not apply to price changes in Volta shares.
