Better yet instead of an update in the form of a news release to incite people to buy back in why doesn't management start a long term promotional advertising campaign to recruit new investors to buy in for the first time? 

Using banner ads just like the ones you see flashing on your computer screen is a useful tool in that regard and should be encouraged.  By clicking on the banner ad that will take a potential investor to the company website where you can read up on the latest the company has to offer to earn your trust and hard earned investment dollars.
