MM's manipulated this down everytime it had an uptick waiting for the big giant pp that no doubt Creso was going to have to take to develop.  
Instead...  Creso takes the other route and does a deal with HDI to avoid financier's dilutive strategy.  Now the guy MM' ing this is a bit pissed b/c he got the cold shoulder... but in reality it is his own damn fault for hammering it down like they did and not supporting their original investment.
It is what happens when you get too greedy.
Of course... this is all just speculation.
