questionIs there any way that by NOT developing this mine, it reverts back to some sort of crown ownership? Sort of like a lease in the oil/gas business?
Only reason why I ask is, I recently talked about this company with coal executive and he said it's a market right now for shipping not for reserves. If you have access to a port (IN WHICH CASE WE DON'T, with-out huge sums of $$$) your really not looked at for a investment grade mine. Now I actually think RIO or Teck would be a great company to partner with, but one has to consider that the ridely port has now guaranteed other miners first right to board. This potential mine would not get Priority.
I mentioned Rio cause they now control riverside mines in Africa, they happen to have around 2 bil tonne of reserves as well about half met and half thermal.
5-7 years is the outlook that large cap miners are looking at this cycle, which has recently changed from 3-5years. I hope we can get things started soon, If not I guess I could pass these shares to my children. If that happens I'm sure we all would be able to load up back to the
.50 range or less.
