RE: Any longs left?I'm still long on this, over a year now. Took a rather large position and stuck to it.
My thoughts are mixed but I generally remain optimistic that they will make some sort of discovery which should increase the share price from here. What I am not pleased about is cutting loose our assets for peanuts. I felt like Condor was a desperation sale as our cash reserves depleted due to crazy operating costs and huge (probably undeserved?) salaries. The whole gong-show with Alca gave them the upper hand and they ended up getting Condor at even a larger discount in the end...
But that was Condor. I'm even LESS pleased with cutting our Mn stockpile loose. That was the main "stability" I was looking forward to, with steady cashflow for 5 or 6 years. Once they put the beneficiation in place, cashflow would easily cover all our cost and a long-term drilling program could be guaranteed.
I have a feeling they have the ability to burn through cash that's sitting in an account rather quickly which makes the long-term stability more questionable. We would have made MUCH more money from the Mn having kept it... I'm undecided on my thoughts of Lamarque. People keep referring to all this money he has saved us - I would love to hear some actual hard numbers. I don't hear him or anyone else in the company volunteering a large salary reduction until some time of discovery. And like I said, he sold our Mn for peanuts... :/
But like anyone holding this stock longer-term, I have my fingers crossed for a successful drill program since that's the only thing that will make us money. I'm sure I will automatically be called a "basher" for this post since it's not all rosy like some, but believe me, I do want this stock to go through the roof! lol
