Indonesia is the fifth largest CBM potentials in the world with resources up to 450 trillion cubic feet in 11 basins. First production will be commenced at Q2 2011.
Current CBM work areas are:
West Sangatta, Kalimantan
Sekayu, Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra
Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra
Barito Banjar, Kalimantan
Sanga-sanga, Kalimantan
There are 5.1 trillion cubic meters of CBM in two large basins in East and South Kalimantan. Another 7.1 trillion cubic meters of CBM potential in southern Sumatra. So, 12.8 trillion cubic meters of CBM or the equivalent of 81 billion barels of oil.[9][10]
