The Star-Orion South Diamond Project is located within the Fort a la Corne diamond district of central Saskatchewan, Canada. These Fort a la Corne mineral dispositions are located in the Fort a la Corne Provincial Forest, approximately 60 kilometers (km) east of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. It also holds a 100% interest in the Buffalo Hills Diamond Project, located approximately 400 kilometers northwest of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The property covers a total of 21 mineral leases covering an area of approximately 4,800 hectares (ha).

BHP speaking in Prince Albert Thursday

BHP speaking in Prince Albert ThursdayBHP are speaking at the Pince Albert Chamber luncheon on Thursday.  It is supposed to be Chris Ryder - more of a potash guy, but he was also head of diamond marketing for BHP.  Now I think hmmmm?

Here's the talk's description:

Chris Ryder will be discussing the prospects for growth and investment with BHP. Chris is from Saskatchewan and has gone to become an international business leader.

Since joining BHP Billiton in 2001, Chris has held various roles with BHP Billiton Marketing, based in Antwerp, Belgium and in The Hague, Holland.

His most recent role was Marketing Director, Diamonds and Specialty Products, based in Antwerp, where he managed the operations and global diamonds marketing strategy for BHP Billiton.

Chris has been in his current role as Vice President of External Affairs, since September 2010. He has also served as a member of the Global Executive Committee of BHP Billiton Marketing and continues as a member of the Diamonds and Specialty Products Leadership Team.
