PDL Head Grade = 3.85 g/tExcellent points Jersey, Moon and Tentongold.
Mustang drilling intersections of ~ 4 grams per ton and ~ 10 grams per ton (30 foot intervals) is a good beginning.
When compared with the only "Canadian" producer of palladium as its "primary" product, North American Palladium, I would conclude that Mustang drilling results are in line for a profitable end outcome.
Today, North American Palladium (PDL) announced Q1 2011 operating results with the Average Mine Head Grade to Mill @ 3.85 grams per ton.
It is noteworthy to mention that 70% of this mill feed at the Lac Des Iles operation came from "underground" production.
As many on this Forum understand, "underground" production is far more costly than open pit mining.
Hence, as I previously commented, the "open pit" mining situation at Mayville that Mustang is developing of the New PGM Zone + "open pit' Copper-Nickel ore from the existing 10 million tons already proven under Lapierre's exploration guidance (43-101 estimate), all this work should significantly increase the valuation of the Mayville-PGM project.
