A Best Value StockHi Everyone
In the latest issue of Canadian Business, Summer 2011 they have a special focus called Investor 500 whey they select certain companies for specific things. This year they have selected HRG (along with 9 other companies) as a best value stock. They list the price to book at 1.4 and the price to earnings at 7.8 for HRG. They state they screened companies for traits that suggest undervaluation and trade at a discount to comparable North American stocks within their industries.
(Note: last year they also selected HRG as a best turnaround stock)
