Quite often when people overpay for stock and the stock tanks, they get very angry, and will often hit the sell button if the price increases and they are lucky enough to break even. This upward selling pressure causes resistance walls to form. This is why it's going to be tough for INT to get back over $3 again, because as it works its way up, there will be many people breaking even and exiting the stock. This is why big runups like INT had are actually bad for a stock.
