The Bigger Picture

The Bigger PictureIts obvious to all, that management are in the early stages of a  major promotional campaign.
Just look at all of the press releases over the past 5-6 weeks.
Now, featured on Lang and perhaps BNN in the near future.
They are also engaged in several conferences over the next week or so.
Why ?
They have about $8.5 million in working capital and almost surely will receive several Govt grants in 2011.
That should get them through to the end of 2011.
Its not an equity raise, thats for sure.
The bigger picture that I see is that they are bulking up the share price  for a major move.
Its been suggested that a private ethanol company wants to go public and has special technology and skills that would match nicely with Lignol's patents and business approach.
In particular, Lignol has best-in-class pretreatment solvents that they acquired from GE and are highly desirable assets for any company contemplating a cellulosic refinery.
Then, there's the lignin patents.

A merger of equals through an RTO would do the trick.
To do this, Lignol needs to move its market cap upwards so that the deal looks acceptable.
This  scenario fits recent events like no other.
