YLO and FridayFriday opening should be interesting.
In one corner - you have the company. Do they want cheap shares or do they want the SP to rise? From what they have said, it is the latter. If so, they'll be looking to send a message to anyone sitting on the sidelines with some powder at the open on Friday.
In the other corner - you have these supposedly huge short positions, who will certainly not want anyone beside the compnay and them buyign stock - so they will want the price to drop at the open. This would signal that they have more power than the company.
As I say, it should be an intersting opening and an intersting trading day.
In the background - you have the commodities getting absolutely hammered by the shorts and by a rotation out of commodities (way overdone IMO).
I'd say the company will try to establish and maintain a floor for the first period, letting other buyers and shorty move the price up. Then re-establish a new floor. And so on. Basically - they'll try to do the reverse of what the Shorts have done. Over a period of 6 months - everytime it looks like the stock is going to drop, they jump in and move it up 5 cents.
That said - what does a guy do today and tomorrow?
