G2BioChem Comparison

G2BioChem ComparisonCan't cut and past the file, but it seems that G2BioChem is setting up to validate their process which enables them to extract ethanol from a variety of feedstocks including corn cobs, stover, bagasse, sorghum, and wood chips.

They're proclaiming that they can produce ethanol at less than the industry standard, and that their production costs are less than $2.25 per gallon ethanol with initial capital costs of $6 per gallon for the first commercial plant and $4 per gallon for future plants.

Of course, this doesn't mean that LEC is not ahead, as G2BioChem is planning production of their first pilot plant this Summer 2011, and as TheRock pointed out, LEC has had one since 2008.

Big difference is that if LEC's HP-L Lignin sales take off, ethanol produced as a byproduct will most likely be produced at next to nothing. Correct me if I'm wrong TheRock.
