RE: Thanks-My apologies LordVI appreciate the candidness and honesty of your last post. I apologize for being somewhat curt with you in a previous post and treating you like a common basher. That was not very nice and I apologize. Your frustration is understandable.
I have a high level of confidence regarding the positive share price impact that the significant earnings and cash flow will lead to going forward for K, YRI and NGD, as three attractively priced picks. There are many others poised to rise in the months ahead imo. I would not argue with anyone that suggested that the trading in the fake paper gold market has skewed reality in the gold sector. In protest, I got rid of my gold certificates.
None the less, buying these well established companies with good assets at the bottom end of their price range is part of the safe part of a good portfolio imo. It certainly won't be a 10 bagger in a year, but it is not unreasonable to expect a safe 2 bagger.
With the junior explorers and other more speculative stocks, there is naturally a high level of volatility. I decided yesterday to allow the list of companies that I am currently tracking or already own, to show up on my public profile. It does not matter to me that the net gain is negative after one day....the markets are pretty volatile at the moment. If it is not up by 80% overall by Christmas though, then I would suggest the ignore button really is a good choice.
The summer months can be volatile and disappointing for many investors and typically I park my portfolio in safe haven investments from May to September. This year, however, things are different on every front, climate, flooding, geopolitics, local politics, global economics, inflation, Middle East and North Africa social reform... the list goes on. I missed the boat on getting out before the May pullback, which came early, so now I am positioning for a June rally. Many of the junior explorers will be coming back with exciting drill results and generating a flurry of action, and share price pops are to be expected in the months ahead.
Well, time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine.
