Here is a Personal Savings Rate chart. Data is sourced from the Bureau of Economic Analysis. I’m not sure how personal saving can increase during a recession:

“Any idiot saw there was no fundamentals to support 50 dollar silver!” I guess I’m “any idiot” since I continue to see fundamentals to support Silver at much higher prices. In my opinion, anyone that bought SLX instead of bullion when Silver was trading near $50 is anything except an idiot.
