Yamana Board to take company private at $15

Yamana Board to take company private at $15Getting ready to schedule a call with Yamana IR to discuss options for getting the stock price up.  Thanks for  emailing suggestions.

I thought that with total self funding of exploration and production going forward, a large and growing pile of cash, huge increases in production and future cash flows that the suggestions that Yamana's board contemplate making an offer to go private at $15 to be the best shortterm idea.
This could serve as a vehicle to criticize the Exchanges and the Regulators for not doing their jobs.

If investors wanted to remain stockholders Yamana could facilitate this in the new structure.  Minimum share ownership could be set at a few thousand shares.  If the market  and shareholders believe this is to cheap an offer then it would be voted down.  Either way the market would have to take the offer seriously.

Other ideas to increase the dividend again  or increase the frequency and shorten the ex dividend timing on a special dividend

Offer a dividend in gold or silver

Offer reinvestment of dividends at a discount to the market

Havethe Mgmt. Team of Yamana publically request an accounting of the activity in the stock. Threaten to delist if the Exchange(s) don't start doing their jobs.  This would have more punch if done in as an industry group vs. individually.

Would appreciate additional thoughts or commets

KC
