1. Teck already owns up to 75% for next to nothing. Why care about the last 25%? There is only one reason, they want to avoid having to finance the entire mine. 
    
2. One guy owns over 50% of the company, giving him control of it. With one vote the price Teck puts forward could be denied. Any bid will draw attention of everyone else. If a bidding war is going to happen, there is nothing Teck can do to avoid it.
    
Ask yourselves honestly, with construction to start next May at the earliest, what benefit is it to Teck to back in early? They won't save any money, they won't speed up construction. In fact, it would be a longer time frame for return on investment if they back in early. IMO we will not see back in until Nov or Dec. Buyout next spring.
