Short Summary (shares): Galway Resources Ltd: May 15, 2011 : 1 068 439 // April 30, 2011 : 755 708 // April 15, 2011 : 372 739....Notice theincrease in short positions during several two week intervals...this is not caused from shareholders holding shares (paper) long and then selling...it is caused by individuals and/or financial houses selling shares they don't have. Short sellers can only profit by a decrease in the value of the underlying security...thus the price suppression games being played.Investment strategy implemented by many hedge funds in which they "hedge" the sector investment by collectively going long the metal and short the mining stocks also causes a short position increase. (I believe this is illegal and encourage Galway to seek legal counsel.) This is happening to many mining companies.In the interim I will continue to accumulate more shares at this price level with a special thanks to "shorters" ;)) for keepingGalway the bargain of the Year.Oh, I forget : I don't like short sellers!!
