I was very heavily involed with FWR when NOT attempted the tak out but Cliffs played white knight and stabbed everyone in the back. Simply because FWR was in a squeeze. Before that Mac Watson spun off Quest Uranium which I sold at 4 bucks. So the Quest spin off was a good thing and you will not here anyone complain.
I am aware of the NEWCO but in FWR's case, it was empty. Now 2 yrs later they show no interest in them but at the time they wanted them in the contract. In retrospect they may have listed all for share holders. I'm not sure. I also know that I spoke with Watson and Joe Carabba from Cliffs live for the3 world to hear and told them that the share holders would not accept 90 cents. We got our dollar for half of Northern Ontarrio which really peed me off, but as for the spin offs? I was very pleased. I see that claritas has a negative opinion of spin offs. I just know that at the very least I can sell and make a few more bucks.
