I'm with you, whiz! I read this piece and I thought: wha??? 

McEwen is usually so composed and tight-lipped and his business acumen in general is par excellence. How could he slip so much?  He and his press writer spouted off so much that it looks like TNR really has them worried! I'm both stunned and pleased to see the other side appear so rattled. 

It might not be as easy as taking candy from a baby to get all of LA back and they are MAD about it, is how I interpret this article. It has a more amateurish tone to it than anything else I have seen in print regarding LA. 

This tone is absolutely the opposite of MAI's News Releases to date regarding the disputed Los Azules property which they have till now arrogantly claimed 100% ownership of and consistently made very hidden reference to ongoing litigation. 

It WILL be interesting indeed to follow developments.
