Charge Anomolies

I am somewhat confused as I have no geologistical background.
When reviewing slide 8 of 15, the highest charge anomolies are not part of the 2006 block.(within 2011 drilling block)
Was this technology not available before 2010?
Webgogs can you shed some light on why this was not part of the plan years ago..

I get the impression this is all of a sudden new and wonder why this wasn't completed years ago..
