RE: RE: RE: bid n ask fun n gamesYou can't really compare them that readily because SSP's flagship property is a copper/gold porphyry whereas VTR's flagship property - Kiaka - is thick sheeted gold veins. In terms of ozs, SSP is estimated at roughly 4m ozs gold plus another 350m lbs of copper so that lets them claim about 9-10m au eq ozs.  Kiaka is still less than 2m ozs based on the maiden resource estimate but probably sitting on another 1m under/around what constituted the first officla resource, so probably 3m ozs and maybe as much as 4m.  Add in Gaoua, and in total VTR has about 3m ozs of "official" gold and 725m lbs copper, with potential for 4m-5m ozs gold, but in two different locations.  Capex on Toroparu (SSP)  is going to require a copper process in addition to the gold process, whereas Kiaka is probably looking at just a leach process - substantial cost differences.  I stand to be corrected on this, but Toroparu apparently is also fairly far off the beaten path, so infrastructure may present additional costs.  Quality-wise, both are running about the same in terms of g/t of gold, with Kiaka at something like 1 g/t and Toroparu at 0.9 g/t (for just the gold portion).
