RE: More ISM & Miller problems .... (Victor2009)throughmud,
There is an ISM forum on Agoracom, there may be other such ISM forums, but I am not familiar with them. The Agoracom forum is under the "Hub Leadership" (control) of an ardent ISM supporter, who also contributes the vast majority of the posts. Due to lack of any meaningful current activity by ISM, much of his input is meaningless drivel about current bids and asks - information that is available elsewhere if anyone was interested, or Technical Analysis snippets - which have been of absolutely no import given the low volumes, share buybacks, and infrequent spurts of manipulated market activity engineered by players. The Hub Leader, starving for some sort of current news, will often resurrect an "inspirational" Press Release and will attempt to interpret some pending glory into a dated promotional effort that at the time of release suggested imminent potential, but has never materialized. In short the Agoracom ISM forum is, for the most part, a one man, biased, vehicle that provides a die hard ISM pumper with something to do. Its rather sad really, the pumper reminds one of a last remaining relative sitting in a palliative care unit - acting like the patient is on the verge of a miraculous recovery, when everyone else has realized the reality. You might enjoy the odd post from a visitor who drops by the forum to try and humour the Hub Leader - but other than that, the Agoracom ISM forum has earned its nick name as the BIG IF - the Big Inspirational Forum - a lot of promotional conjecture, no substance or relevance.
In my opinion, URSA supporters would be best served by viewing the ISM fiasco as having been a brief encounter with the black plague, but surviving uninfected. The game that ISM tried to play, gave you an opportunity to see just how poorly public company management can perform for shareholders, while still maintaining their lucrative positions - like a bunch of hogs polishing off what is left in a trough that was filled by hopeful investors.
It looks like UMJ will be unaffected by the ISM buffoonery. Testament to what a failure ISM has become, is that the UMJ fiasco they perpetrated is the closest that management has ever come to an achievement. In spite of being humiliated with public blunders and lost Court Cases, management may have made the first expenditure in ISM history that didn't deplete shareholder value. The position ISM took in UMJ may result in an investment gain, if they aren't forced to liquidate before the UMJ investment returns enough to cover the administration costs of the games they played.
The June vote for UMJ Directors will hopefully be the final interference by these ISM bozos in the affairs of URSA. They have caused costs to URSA in time and money, while providing no benefit - a result that they achieve regularly in their own company. They will likely fade from any further UMJ involvement, and return to guide their own company to continued decline and eventual oblivion. Good Riddance!
