RE: RE: NR on THGHere's my take. First off, Osisko must have been all over the Adanac property, studied the historical data and obviously liked what they saw and very quickly made their move. I'm going to guess that what they've seen, they have seen before, that being, I hope, the many similarities between Adanac and Malartic.
Now that they will be running the program and assuming the similarities, they will have a very good idea where to drill. This will now be fast tracked, without THG having to raise the 4 to 5 million $, adding significant dillution, to complete the drill program . Osisko's expertise will expedite the exploration and as I suggested, they will have a strong idea where to drill and subsequently have much higher odds of hitting on the early holes. With all liklihood the stock price will move significantly higher with the results of the first holes or anticipation of such.
Assuming their research and the drill holes are what they expect, Osisko will continue to move quickly and make an offer, perhaps prior to feasibility, obviously at multiples of today's price. Look how quickly they've pounced over a couple of months. First they strike a business relationship, make a move on the Standard property, have one of their executive VP stand for election to the board. In the meantime they spend over $2,000,000 accumulating shares on the market and along with their optioning of the Standard Gold property bring their ownership up to 9.2% and then today's announcement. Should be a great summer.
