I will first say this, I agree this is a risky stock, as would any company would be if they never turned a profit.  You should never invest more than you can afford to do loose. 

Secondly, when the stock was trading at these lows last Feb. because investors saw the pending disaster.  The coal market was not what it is today nor was the global economy recovered to what it has.  Demand was not as high for Met coal.  Also, the company’s financials presented a position that would worry most investors.  A current ratio of .05!  They were at high risk of insolvency, and there was not a guarantee they would be able to convince investors into providing more capital.  The stock shoot up when the news of an equity offering was announced.

 

If you can not afford to loose the money, pull out.  If you can do without it for a while, wait it out.  Make your own decisions, but find someone who knows a little something before you take your position.
