Prior to that, IIRC, FCF had been the metric that Yellow used as it considered divvy payout range. Coincidentally, and I wonder if this is where the confusion has arisen, it wasn't that long ago that Yellow's divvy outlay stacked against either earnings or FCF came in around the same percentage – somewhere in the mid 60s. aclcmc
