RE: Hope we really have tons of Silver

RE: Hope we really have tons of SilverThat's interesting.  I had no idea there were large amounts of silver used in solar power.  Personally, I believe that anyone who thinks the world can sustain itself (cleanly) on anything but nuclear is crazy, but that doesn't mean the money won't go in that direction.  I know a lot of people who have made a lot of money on windmill and solar related companies.  Economically (from an energy perspective) I think these are ridiculous ways to try harness any major amount of energy, but if you make money on these kind of stocks, more power to you.  I just don't feel comfortable investing in something that doesn't make sense to me.  Copper makes sense, however, and is a good hedge toward environmentally friendly agendas.  Massive amounts of copper are used in windmills and electric cars.  There is no better or cheaper alternative for conducting electricity.  In short, the world needs copper, and there will be a significant demand for the foreseeable future.  That's why I'm long on copper, and the fox.
