RE: new info from snm presentationI just checked out that SNM presentaion as well. That's quite the area they have circled as gas prone.
While there seems to be some truth to that.. you can see HOC's block has oil in it. and there are some point producing wells around. Lots of gas too. I'd be curious to see the depth of those wells with gas etc. You can see how they have the huge structure of kara dahg color as green/red as they're unsure of what it holds.
It always amazes me the size of VST's underground resevoir.. While we have the chance of gas.. I'm sure we'll have some gas.. I sure hope it's oil and lots of it! If it is I'll finally have a stock to jump by 200% or more.. and i'm pretty sure it would jump to $1.20 plus on a major discovery. Less shares than WZR, More oil, etc first time's the charm. We'll see though could very well be gas as well and we'd have a sad face :P
with 3 payzones i would think we've got oil.. especially the way sampson from niko talked about vst before refereing to the prize and hydrocarbon shows etc mentioned. we'll see!
Have you invested in SNM? at .70 it looks like a bottom has formed.. i'm tempted to get in. it's the only kurdistan stock i do not own at the moment on the TSXV
