Wells buys again todayWells buys 38,300 shares today.
Oilandgas stated in earlier posts that the star investestors such as Buffett and others have done poorly on investments, so it mean nothing. While I agree that it is no guarantee, I totally disagree that Well's buying is not a very bullish indicator of this play. Oilandgas also suggested that Wells was propping up this stock. This, I totally disagree with because his volumes cannot support this stock. We saw this morning that the stock was down several cents on a few thousand voluume. Check the records - this BIG BOYS have very low turnover of this stock. I still say that those investor's with some patience, some accumen and some sophiostication know that the possibilities of the play are through the roof.
In some ways, the market confuses me on this play. The SP is essentially the same as it was prior to the find in AKD03, the possibility of a nice find in AKD03 cretacious and the possibility of a great find in Tajikistan. That is an irrational market and weak hands. This play is so thinly traded, the week handed retail players are controlling the price. There are going to be some very sorry investors in time.
While the sentiment may be that TPL cannot get it right, is bungling and takes too long, there really is no evidence of this. TPL is dealing in a very different environment., Unfortunately, Kaz has become very beuracratic and everything takes time. This is no reflection on TPL. Rrather, TPL is carefully crafting its reputation as a reliable partner who can be relied upon and will lay by the rules. While this might affect some short term golas, it is a long range plan. The fact that tPL is on the short list for Afghanastan is reflective of that reputation. I suspect that logical1's post makes Robson turn over. TPL has tried to time its expenses to address drilling issues at several wells to judicialy use resources but I beleive TPL failed to understand the "fast food" mentality of investors.
I believe that some verg big players monitor this board. This is a testiment to his board bcause i believe it does reflect the heartbeat of retail investors and us small retail investors concerns can be heard.
When this becomes a 10 or 20 bagger, I suggest we have an investors party in the Bahamas - my treat.
