for a company that has done "squat"...I have made 3 MKR trades of 30% or more profit each time in approx. the last 2 1/2 years...not a bad return on my money while awaiting the final verdict on a company that has done squat.
I am not sure what the big deal is about a 50,000 share purchase by Jens and I wouldn't want to read anything into it unless it fits within some other context that explains it...other than that, it is what it is. He filed it and that is all he is required to do. For fear of offending those thin-skinned investors by suggesting an alternative if they don't like what they see in MKR, I won't comment further.
I don't profess to "know" Jens, although I have met him and I have drawn my opinion from that and the performance of BFD and MKR whicn suits my investment style. Frivolous he ain't and that is why I commented on the assertion that he bought 50,000 shares for a laugh..that I doubt unless he will be laughing on the way to the bank in a few months and I hope to be right behind him.
We agree on the "slow and methodical and thorough" but as to his reason for buying 50,000 shares, I have no idea...now if he starts buying 50,000 a week, I would be right there trying to figure out what prompted it. I hope we all make money...we all have our own agenda and investing criteria so lets look at the big picture instead of getting twisted out shape about about inconsequential stuff.
My opinion remains as does yours and everyone else's so let leave it at that....

ps: yes it often is "the market" and probably is a big chunk of all the red I see in my portfolio. POG often runs contrary to gold share prices. This is a buying opportunity in my books just as it was in 07,08 and 09.
