RE: INT_realists says (Watch the Basher Spins)Gilver, I suspect that you are just sick and tired of watching your profits evaporate.
I didn't create doubt, I only pointed out the change in policy and how it affected my impression of the company. It is up to the reader to decide if they share that concern and act accordingly - I post no recommendation.
Moving to the cloud simply means migrating their platform to a hosted service from in-house infrastructure and network access. The platform doesn't changed, only the hosting location does. I suspect that the dog and pony show was created on it's own separate platform which was discarded after the single purpose use.
Hosting companies can provide website statistics updated to the minute, it is not a manual process and can be done through self serve. INT would still have the weekly stats for any hits on their servers. Your rationalization of the change in reporting frequency does not hold water.
I don't need to contact INT directly for the reporting timelines, they stated them in the news release.
from the May 30'th release:
"As disclosed on May 24, 2011, theexisting platform has effectively maxed out at a cap of 16.1 millionusers, and Ortsbo is compelled to accelerate the initial launch of theMicrosoft Azure cloud computing platform planned for mid-June. As Ortsbointegrates the new cloud application, performance numbers will bereported monthly."
Note that they do not explain why.
If David wants to bring me in front of a judge for asking questions and sharing my opinion of INT's behaviour bring it on. The countersuit will be more lucrative than any amount I'd make investing in his company.
