RE: Patience......................................Hi Glen, I have to concede after rereading the contract, that the initial 25% share agreement seems legitimate. However, JJ's right to bring in additional investors isn't as clear. If it were, the arbitration process wouldn't be taking so long.
The presumption that JJ sold 25% of the deal for only 2% of the value either means that JJ made a very bad business decision or mistake, OR they were truly of the understanding (supported by contract interpretation) that they could bring in another investor and subsequently dilute GBK's 25% stake. Which do you think is more likely? The potential value of the mineral resources also makes this bet very tempting, but in no way is this a sure thing.
Good luck to everyone who is holding. It's not a bad bet if you haven't got at lot tied up in this. If you have ridden this down from higher levels, you may as well hold on or reduce some of your exposure if necessary.
