RE: GET OUT FAST - Twit !! The smart people are buying at this point, not selling.. Yes, the company hit a wall for a while with the moritorium on shale gas exploration in Quebec however, Mr. Brett hasn't just thrown up his hands and walked away either...
He has been acquiring light oil wells in Alberta, along with properties that are highly probable to be productive, and has created plans with others in the know to drill them and make them productive. This is keeping the company not only moving forward, but is creating income and future income, as well as raising the overall value of the company.
Imho CQM is going to come out stronger than ever. The light oil play is great for them - this will give them an income to carry them through the moritorium without diluting it too much, and once the moritorium is lifted (which it surely will be), this will provide CQM with money to continue their fantastic work in the shale play. The moritorium may, in the long run, actually have been a good thing for CQM. It is giving them time to examine their properties more closely to form the ideal attack plan for moving forward in Quebec - which wil give them an edge for the future.
I spend alot of time travelling, including in New York and Pa, and have noticed that they are already starting to drill again. This is very good because there is very little doubt that Quebec will follow what they are doing. Quecbec includes the income gained through royalties in their budget and will want to get these guys drilling again asap..
I have talked to Mr. Brett a couple of times now, and I have complete confidence in him. He is extremely easy to talk to and is very very passionate about CQM and it's future. He also forms plans well and examines every possible outcome for each of his plans and acts accordingly. When you ask him a question - he has an answer, and enjoys talking about what they are doing now, and in the future. He has a vision for how he sees the company moving forward, and is excited about it. I find he is not like most CEO's that you deal with - I find most see their jobs as a pain in their butt and they find shareholders as a waste of their time - This is not the case with Mr. Brett.
I fimly believe that, as long as Mr. Brett is at the helm, CQM will move forward and recover stronger from the moritorium. I realise that did say "get out fast" the day the moritorium was announced, and kudo's to you for that - I wouldn't have seen the headline early enough if you had not said it however, to say again now seems to serve little to no purpose, except to attempt to create mayhem through unwarranted fear-mongering, or just patting yourself on your back perhaps - seems a little self-indulgent to me.. If you want to sell at this point, then sell. I think at this point it would be your loss.I will hold and buy thanks.
