Even if there were many thin pay zones, would not the cumulative effect be the same. Please explain why one 20 separate 1 metre pay zones would be better that one 20 metre zone - is it permeability? Based on your comment, and some common sense given the strong flow, it is difficult to envision that there is not at least on satisdactory pay zone.
I will admit, my science and physics is weak, but would it make any difference on the upward pressure if the oil that flowed was from a 1 foot pay zone versus a 20 foot pay zone, for example. I am just wondering if the fact that there was such a strong flow reflects at all the size of the pay zone.
