WEEKLY METALS WRAP-UP

The Val d'Or mining camp has become a beehive of activity in recent years. And with Osisko Mining's Malartic Gold Project recently achieving commercial production it's not hard to understand why.

Adventure Gold recently announced the start of a Phase II drilling program on its 100%-owned Pascalis-Colombiere gold property located in the eastern part of the historic mining camp. The new drilling program will include at least 12 holes aggregating approximately 5,000 metres. According to the company, the purpose of the program is to define the new gold mineralized system recently identified west of the former L.C. Beliveau Mine and the extensions of the mine at depth.

The drilling program is expected to be completed during the months of June and July. The company is hoping to develop an open pit or an underground mining operation should the program define resources with economic potential.
