I doubt very much we would hit .50c due to Peru. The worst is probably in on the election results unless Humala does something totally unexpected which is very doubtful at this point as was discussed on this board last week. If we head down it would be more due to the economy and what would happen to commodities in general.

 

Barring a collapse in commodities, Candente should have good support due to the split coming in August or thereabouts.

 

And if you're looking at this from a technical point of view, you got your poles wrong.  Resistance would be as we move up in price. Heading downwards is called support.  If we break support around 1.35 - 1.40 then 1.00 to 1.10 should be the next level, where we have a small gap.
