Something to discuss

Something to discussAfter reading Solver's post, i have a question about the recovery cost, in Solver's post, he said the recovery cost is around $500/oz, but I think the cost should be calculated on $$/ton other than $$/oz . I want to give an example, suppose you are running a recovery mill, your cost to recover gold from ore includes time, power, labour, amortization, etc., now two companies get their ores to your mill, the ores are in different grade, one is 31.1 gpt, the second one is 0.5gpt, suppose your machine can process 1 ton ore per hour ( just a suppose ), so for the 31.1 gpt ore, you spend one hour to recovery 1 oz gold, for the 0.5 gpt ore, you have to spend 26 hours to recovery 1 oz gold, that is, your cost is 26 times than the first one, if you charge the first company $500 for working for it just 1 hour and recovering 1oz gold,  will you charge the second comany still $500 for working for it 26 hours recovering the same oz golder ?
